Rev. Jim Roberts has been a teacher, Dean and Academic Advisor of a local college. He is a Certified Christian Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Clinical Pastoral Counselor, as well as a Certified Christian Life Coach. He is the Minister of Discipleship for Grace United Methodist Church. He has been in ministry for over 25 years. He brings with him a compassionate heart, while at the same time teaching God’s biblical truth and helping people live out their faith. Jim is committed to helping people become healthy, mature disciples of Christ.

He is the trainer, coach and counselor of One Family at a Time a is a start-up comprehensive program to assist those in poverty and prevents families from moving into poverty in Stark County. Our program will respond to the needs of these families with life skill education, coaching, employment counseling, health and wellness consulting with local community involvement and business partnerships.
Our Mission is to provide 18 months of support services and holistic life skill training to impoverished and working poor families and move them into being productive, healthy, employed and self sufficient.
He is certified to use numerous assessment instruments including DISC, Myers- Briggs, Taylor Johnson, Strong Campbell Interest Inventory, Prepare and Enrich, and others.
BA is Psychology and sociology, Master of Divinity and postgraduate work in Leadership, and Spiritual Direction. He has studied under John Maxwell, Rick Warren and Myles Monroe. |
